Hedges was founded in 2001 by Celia DeHuff, after her graduation from Rutgers University in Landscape Architecture. Previously and during her studies, she had worked as a designer and draftsman in a landscape architectural office and now shares an office with her architect husband, Peter Dorne.

Hedges provides comprehensive landscape design services addressing a broad range of landscape elements including site planning and design, grading and drainage, irrigation, paving, garden structures, water features, site lighting and planting. Celia is adept at all aspects of the design process including schematic design, permitting, contract documents and construction administration. She is flexible and tailors her approach to best meet the client's needs.
