John has worked with Peter Dorne for nearly a decade. He works closely with Peter on all stages of a project from design through construction management. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Rutgers University as well as a Masters degree in Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He uses his business education and experience to streamline the construction process and make sure the project is run efficiently. John believes in the importance of building as a team, and works with contractors and clients to maximize the effectiveness of a project. This relationship and continuous attention allows the client to take advantage of opportunities that may arise during construction and make decisions that will enrich the project. John’s design sense is influenced by his years spent living in Philadelphia and his time studying in Europe. Prior experience at The Vaughn Collaborative included projects such as Linwood City Hall (NJ), Solebury Municipal Building (PA), and Waretown Elementary School (NJ).
